Base Material - Satin Brass

Our brass hardware is not lacquered, which allows them to gain a natural patina over time. Please note that especially satin brass patinates quite quickly which should not be seen as a defect. It is part of an intentional look where natural materials are allowed to age with poise inspired by the authentic Wabi-Sabi philosophy. Humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens can accelerate the ageing process of the hardware.

To clean satin brass use a damp non-abrasive cloth without any cleaning detergents. Please note only regarding satin brass: you can carefully use a soft scourer sponge to retrieve the brushed satin look.
